You would think that someone like me would be used to interviewing people, but I can honestly say that I can’t ever get used to it. About two weeks ago, I had the privilege to cover the 2014 LAMC here in New York City and thanks to my friends at Digital Girl got to interview the one and only Diana Fuentes. We sat down with Diana; one of the leaders of this flourishing generation of performers and musicians under the flag of new Cuban music and discussed her early years as a schooled musician, her time with other bands, her work with her husband on her album and much more. It’s said that the mark of a great artist is how engaged they can make you feel and I was engaged fully. So I hope you all enjoy the interview as much as it was to make it.
