The Launch of Mixt by Heidi Weisel at Dress Bar

Spring is in the air with cooler/longer days and flowers blossoming (allergy season). This season has opened its doors with trendy styles and more reasons for us to shop. In the Flatiron District, beholds a cute pop up shop displaying several shades of spring color. Dress Bar is the latest collection at Dress Barn that has been making waves throughout the city with its go to dresses. The best part is that it’s all women sizes (petite-plus size) and affordable dresses ($48-$88) from designers Adrianna Papell, Heidi Weisel, Carmen Marc Valvo and Etta Granata. Dress Barn has launch events with each of the featured designers until May 31.

Any woman that loves a dress for all occasions can’t go wrong with Dress Bar. It makes all sizes feel comfortable and appealing. Several of the dresses on display did not need accessories as it stood out with its fabrication, print or cut. This is one of the wedding seasons and makes it easier on deciding what to wear. Many of the guests that scooped at the trends tried on dresses and walked out with purchases. The evening was filled with many sipping on Peach Bellini and wine and getting their hair braided by Dream Dry. Mixt designer Heidi Weisel and beauty blogger Amber Fillerup Clark were in attendance as they spoke about the collection and their beauty advice.
