Intocable Confirmed To Perform At 2016 Sesac Latina Music Awards

Legendary Regional Mexican superstars INTOCABLE will perform at the SESAC Latina Music Awards which will take place on Wednesday, June 15, at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel. Led by singer, accordionist and SESAC Latina affiliated composer Ricky Muñoz, INTOCABLE has been making hit records and selling out concert tours for more than two decades.
Representatives of the new and refreshing trend in Regional Mexican music, INTOCABLE are currently on tour promoting the release of their June 17   album, Autopista.  They arranged their schedule to perform at the annual gala that takes place just two days before the release of the album, the music from which was inspired by the group’s own realities of traveling on the road, bringing the message of their music to city after city.
INTOCABLE are the most recent in the long line of superstars who have performed at the annual SESAC Latina event, which has included Nicky Jam, Calibre 50, Reik, Jencarlos Canela, Draco Rosa, Voz de Mando, Fonseca, Samo de Camila, Germán Montero, Aleks Syntek, Joey Montana, Erika Ender, Carlos Baute, Luz Casal and others.
During the gala, SESAC, the world’s most progressive performing rights organization, will present awards for Song of the Year, Publisher of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Awards are based on radio airplay and Billboard chart positions. Along with the artists and authors affiliated to SESAC Latina, this gala is attended by representatives of publishers, record company executives and special guests from the industry.

SESAC Latina composers had a record setting year on radio and on the Billboard charts with 10 hits in the top 16 Regional Mexican list, including Eden Muñoz’s # 1 “Préstamela A Mí”, with Calibre 50; and at the same time, the # 1 on the Hot Latin Songs and other charts with “Hasta El Amanecer” by urban sensation Nicky Jam.
