"Recap: Eileen Fisher Insideout"

I had the opportunity of joining Eileen Fisher for a night of shopping, cocktails and learning about sustainable practices for a healthier environment. The brand has not lost any of its style since being in business for a little over 30 years and continuously growing with age. The contemporary designer opened its doors for consumers to shop some of the latest collections and sample pieces at a special price.

The event was filled with a large after work crowd that indulged in Italian hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails by Glutton for Life’s Laura Silverman. I had the pleasure of speaking to one of the company’s representatives and was given insight on their go green program. If you are considering getting rid of any gently used Eileen Fisher clothing, you can drop them off at their retail stores or recycling centers as donations.

Once items are accepted, the store will reward you with reward bucks that can be used for purchases and clothes are dry cleaned prior to reselling. All profits of resale donated items will support programs that improve the lives of women and children in low economic communities.
