The 2016-2017 season for NYFW has allowed more opportunities for the public to attend events with several pop-up shops located throughout the City. Due to the major loss of revenue from Fashion Night Out, many retailers opted out with participating in the largest event of the year. However, NYC is the capital for fashion and every year gets bigger and better. Pop-up shops have become the new trend featuring virtual reality and live stream shows, shopping, special services and in-store appearances. The general public no longer feels excluded due to years of invite only events.
The shows located at 875 Washington St is one of the most talked about pop-ups in the Meatpacking District. It’s opened daily until September 11 and sells designer jewelry and apparel. Products from Maybelline New York and Intel are sold on-site and have special giveaways. Sip and shop while watching the overview of the beautiful High Line.
