Rebecca Minkoff hosted a shopping event with fashion website College Fashionista at their Soho flagship store. Â Rebecca Minkoff is a contemporary brand that is featured in several fashion publications. College Fashionista is a website that allows college students to show the latest college trends around campus and write reviews. These two companies partnered together for a night of sip, shop and glamour. As guests walked in, they were treated to a complimentary Rebecca Minkoff tote bag and organic teas from Big T NYC. The shop was filled with mostly college students touring the shop and checking out the latest styles (neutral colors) from Minkoff.
Some shopped by purchasing mostly accessories, while others waited to be styled by mobile app beauty service Glam Squad. Guests were given the option of curls, braid or straight hair for the complimentary service. As a promotion, first time customers received 20% off on their next appointment. I was impressed with the two stylists as I saw women of different textures being styled. I also gave their service a try and stylist Jamie curled my hair. I felt brand new with my big bouncy hair. I recommend this service to anyone who needs it for a special occasion. Glam squad only styles hair and does not provide any other special services. They do not have a salon and the stylists go to their client’s home for all services. It was a great way to enjoy a night out in this too good to be true weather.
