"Locos por Juana to headline Miami’s Coconut Grove Arts Festival"
Miami’s music powerhouse, Locos por Juana, return to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival® as headliners this Saturday, February 18. The three-day event that launched as an intimate “clothes line” in 1963 has transformed into one of the most thriving fine arts festivals in the nation and the most successful in South Florida, showcasing the works of over 360 artists and attracting over 120,000 people.
This year, Locos por Juana will perform live songs off of their new album, Caribe, which features many high profile international guest artists including Collie Buddz, Akae Beka’s Vaughn Benjamin, Chad Stokes (Dispatch), ChocQuibTown, Notch, Marina (Ojos de Brujo), Rocky Dawuni and legendary rapper Talib Kweli. See the newly released lyric video for the Kweli-featured single “For The Ladies.” The album also features Miami-based top-tier acts El B, Jorge Villamizar, Elastic Bond and XAXO.
Locos por Juana is coming straight from celebrating their 5th annual Locos por Marley Music Festival at Armando Records in Miami, a reggae fest tribute to the late Bob Marley. Following their Wynwood Yard performance in 2016 with over 2,000 people in attendance, this year the groundbreaking festival had a sold-out house and featured the best of Miami’s talent and international guest artists.
