In 2002, Los Angeles based denim brand True Religion emerged onto the fashion scene with its one-of-a-kind collection. Fast forward to 2017, the company has expanded with collections in several mass retailers, high volume merchandise sales, ads in high-end fashion magazines, and international runway shows. The stitch of True Religion’s denim has not only garnered a lot of fame, but the attention of some of the most respected designers. I recently attended their fall preview collection at Milk Studios located in the Meatpacking District.
Located on the 8th fl of Milk studios, the event was filled with several media and fashion outlets socializing and previewing the women and men’s collection. Guests were served with cocktails and refreshments throughout the evening. The preview line was a small collection featuring bomber jackets, camouflage denimwear, construction/distress denim, and contemporary sneakers.
