Since 1983, international shoe brand French Sole has been the lead designer in comfort ballet flats. I had the opportunity to preview French Sole’s spring 2017 collection at their Lexington Avenue Store. I wasn’t too familiar with the brand, but have heard of it. Several media outlets previewed the upcoming collection before it’s release in early 2017. I was intrigued by the unique designs of the Brazil and Spain collections with its bright colors and specially made materials. Each shoe is not for every woman, but it really depends on how you wear it. The mosaic style was my favorite with its multi-color patterns which can be dressed up or down. It is a comfy flat that not only blends with any color, but looks great with a pair of distressed jeans. Both collections featured metallic colors , leather, mesh and trimmed heels.
French Sole fits true to size, but some shoes may run a little bigger depending on the cut. Each shoe is cozy comfort and stretches. During my visit, I also checked out the upcoming fall collection and was ready to buy almost every pair. Ankle boots, animal prints, and suede were apart of the styles. Most shoes are priced between $165-$235 and should be ordered in advance due to high demand/production. If you are in the New York City area, visit French Sole at 985 Lexington Ave.
