An exiled traitor may have found a way to make amends for his treachery, a boy transitions into a man, exotic flesh seems to be the the delicatessen of the day, a desperate cry for help results in death and is it the begining of the end of a certain Lannister? Let’s dive in to last week’s episode of Game of Thrones.
Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) defends the honor of his girl crush Gilly (Hannah Murray) though without much result as he gets his ass handed to him by one of two men (fellow watchmen) who attempted to rape her. What Sam lacks in fight he makes up for with heart and conviction and despite him not being much of a fighter, Gilly was floored that Sam stood up for her and defended her honor. His bold gesture results in the two of them getting even closer and Gilly giving herself to Sam as she mounts the injured man giving him some sexual healing. For the second time in a single night the boy becomes a man. WELL done Sam!
Bronn (Jerome Flynn) who’s locked in a cell is unexpectedly teased by Tyene Sand (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) who sits in the opposite cell with her sisters. She loosens her top, baring her breasts and enticing Bronn before discloses that the dagger she cut him with (when they battled the episode before) was coated with a poison. In exchange for calling her the most beautiful woman in the world she would give him the antidote. Now honestly I was sure she was bluffing and was going to let him die, but NO she actually gave him the antidote and sparred him an early death. I have to admit that she her tata’s were quite lovely and I’m gay so that says something! Something tells me these two will end up doing the bedroom tango and if so then Bronn will be QUITE the lucky man.
Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) has had ENOUGH of her husband Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and his brutal treatment of her in the bedroom. She yearns to be free and reaches out to
Reek/Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) in hopes that he’ll aide her, but instead he goes running to Ramsay telling him of cry for help. He takes Sansa on a walk which ends with them coming upon the body of a woman who offered to help Sansa. Ramsay crucified the woman and left her on display to make an example out of anyone who would betray him. It seems Sansa may have to weather this unhealthy situation much longer then she had hoped. Be strong my lady, help is near by and waiting for the right moment to get you out of there.
Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) are sold at a seller’s market to a buyer who brings them along with the men he already owns to Meereen to compete in the fighting pits. Upon arriving the man brings his best fighters out to compete in the lower pits in hopes of making it to the main event. As tradition the ruler of the city must attend the lower pits until a victor is announced and so keeping with tradition Queen Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) attends. Upon seeing that Daenerys is watching, Jorah puts on a helmet and rushes out to fight the remaining men and proves victorious. Upon removing his helmet Daenerys is disgusted to see Jorah and orders he be taken away. He yells that he’s brought a gift for her and out comesTyrion who introduces himself. With the fifth season nearing it’s end (after tonight there’s only two more epsiodes left) my two FAVORITE characters of the show FINALLY meet! I can not WAIT to see what there meeting will produce but I HOPE that the end result is the death of Cersei (Lena Headey). Speaking of that devious and conniving bitch…
What starts off as Cersei appearing to be a concerned mother in law visiting Queen Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) turns into the most fan rejoicing moment of the season! Cersei went to see Margaery in order to appear supportive of her son Tommen Baratheon ( Dean-Charles Chapman) who’s hurt by the imprisonment of his wife. After seeing Margaery (who knows Cersei had something to do with the situation) she speaks to the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) with questions about what happens next. He informs her of what’s to proceed, then goes into the history of the structure they’re standing in and talks about stripping things down to their core and finding the truth. He then ponders what would be found when all of her vanity and materialistic possessions are removed. The JAWDROPPING moment came when the High Sparrow brought in Lancel Lannister (Eugene Simon) who not only is Cersei’s cousin and former lover (YES these Lannister are some inbred NASTY mofos) but also who she conspired with to kill her husband King Robert Baratheon (he died in season one). I would’ve LOVED to have been a fly on the wall when those secrets came out! Cersei attempted to leave, but was stopped and thrown in a cell. I can’t wait to see what the High Sparrow has instore for her royal bitchness! An all new episode of Game of Thrones airs tonight at 9pm on HBO.
